Mike uses touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of the joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues to aid your body’s own healing mechanism. He also gives advice on lifestyle, posture and exercise, to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
After 15 years as a health professional, he still wakes up every day looking forward to his work. Mike finds solace in the words of Siddhartha Gautama “the only way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”, and this is Mikes daily mantra as he offers his clients all he can give to help. Mike has a wealth of experience working with clients from all lifestyles and backgrounds, alongside his own experiences within health and sport competing in countless running, cycling and triathlon events and competing at international level for Great Britain in duathlon in his former years.

Mike has been my personal trainer since 2000. As a result of Mikes help I have run three marathons and many half marathons, cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats and completed the Etape du Tour (amateur stage of Tour de France). The great thing about Mike is that he has made me believe that I was able to achieve these goals, and has set out a realistic way forward to achieve them. As an Osteopath he has treated me effectively when I had back pain on my bike, in addition giving advice on how I can adapt my training. I greatly appreciate his professional help and friendship.
