Hypnotherapy utilises the hypnotic state to bring about change.  We enter this natural state everyday just before going to sleep and as we wake up.  The process allows us to bypass the critical conscious mind and gain direct access to the subconscious mind which is more accepting of alternative possibilities and new ways of doing things.  Hypnotherapy has a wide range of applications; not least the deep relaxation that takes place in the hypnotic state allowing the mind and the body time to relax and recharge.
